Born in Auckland, I graduated in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2008 before relocating to Melbourne in 2010.

Automatic drawing was a meditative process & form of creative expression that I was interested in exploring more. In 2012, I packed up my bags and did the archetypical "move to Berlin & become an artist". However aware of this tag, the time spent here definitely helped foster dreams about becoming an artist. Most drawings were of a "busy" whimsical style.

After moving back to Auckland I have began to explore different styles in my continual development in my work. I'm excited to be a part of Nes Artist Residency in Iceland March 2017 where I hope to create a body of work that reflects my time spent surrounded by the amazing landscape.
